Larynx & pharynx different sound boxes.
Larynx and pharynx are both parts of the throat, but they have distinct roles in sound production. The larynx, also known as the voice box, is the primary structure for sound generation in children and ladies, while the pharynx acts as a resonating chamber.
Pharynx, muscular wide tube in male . Its tissue can vibrate and create sound, pharyngeal voice in male and also plays a role in speech by shaping and resonating the sound produced by the larynx. So in an adult male high pitched voice automatically vanishes.
