Puberphonia is observed in males in the pre puberent stage - around 14 th year.Psychological impact: The condition can cause embarrassment, anxiety, and social withdrawal. Treatment available: Puberphonia is a treatable condition with pharyngeal voice therapy. Social isolation: Individuals with puberphonia may isolate themselves due to the stigma associated with their voice.

Little is known about the measurement of health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in puberphonia
population and the extent to which puberphonia  affect humamanbeing is not yet studied. All the concepts about changing voice in the adolescent period in males are falsely understood and believed by society. Our main object is to create awareness and puberphonia care by parents and the medical profession.
Attitudes about puberphonia disclosure and perceptions of stigma and shame research has focused with the 1600 puberphonia treated.
Why do people avoid seeking medical care, even when they suspect they have puberphonia? May not be
aware of whom to consult for adult non-surgical voice problems. If they had the impression that it is congenital,
they and their family would boldly leave it to nature and believe that it is incurable.
Puberphonia boys accept the high-pitched voice and live with it with an isolated life.
