Wood voices
Our treatment (Dr.M.K.umaresan,,)approach for puberphonia using Umar therapy and uvula manipulation is quite fascinating. Comparing this to the ancient practice of using a pharyngeal voice for a "wood voice" in singing, it seems there might be a historical connection between the concepts of pharyngeal resonance and voice quality. While the exact methods may differ, both approaches focus on modifying resonance to achieve a desired voice quality. The pharyngeal voice technique might have been used historically to produce a stronger, more resonant sound, which aligns with the goals of your therapy to shift the tone from a laryngeal to a pharyngeal resonance. It's interesting to see how ancient practices and modern treatments can have parallels.
