The non-mature voice in males during puberty is called puberphonia known
as mutational falsetto, functional falsetto, incomplete mutation, adolescent
falsetto, pubescent falsetto, juvenile voice, or childish voice. There are
many myths and misconceptions about puberphonia. One percent of the
population is born with a predisposition to speak in a different way; one
such issue is puberphonia (boys speaking in female tones), which causes
depression, loneliness, cowardice, low self-esteem, an inferiority complex,
and suicidal ideation. This topic is important to the prospective public and
health care workers because it is a specific, relevant, common condition
with an unknown etiology. This book is a great way to make awareness
and treatment available. It offers readers a chance to try out our new noninvasive, outpatient treatment methods for an easily recognized, common,
unattended ENT problem.
This manuscript will be different from other available books: that is
what makes this book unique and distinctive. There is no other book
on puberphonia available. All topics will be unique to this research
"UMAR" book. The target readership is UG/PG/Practitioners, medical
students, residents, specialists, fellows, nurses, physician assistants,
pharmacists, technicians, and language interested generalists. The
courses, where the book can be used are MBBS, MS (ENT), speech
therapy, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy. This book will be a
reference work. Geographical focus: the content or concept is specific to
a national or international market, and the contents are new to the world.
It has a number of illustrations, drawings, and photographs: about 150
illustrations, 50 drawings, and about 165 photographs.
